Overview of GLICS
GLICS is an ongoing project that was designed for internet community and personal information sites. Fully programmed in Python over the DJANGO framework. GLICS incorporates a BLOG, FORUMS, WIKIs, GALLERIES, DOWNLOADs and more nto one site. Fully CSS customizable to change your look and make the site unique. Also customizable to enable/disable the features you would like for your own purposes.
Status
Version 1.0 is currently still in beta and is not yet ready to be released for download.
Currently version 1.0 is being beta tested on the below sites to find any ourstanding issues before the release.
DrBeBusy is my own personal web site that only has the galleries turned on. The site is used by a single user (me).
StudioSysAdmins is a networking group site for systems administrator, technical directors , developers, venders and VARs the currently work in and/or support the Entertainment Industry.
This site features NEWS (Blog), FORUMS, WIKIs, GALLERIES, JOB BOARD, USED GEAR BOARD, USER PROFILES, COMPANY PROFILES, STATISTICS, and DOWNLOADS. This site is currently being used on a daily basis by over 800 individual users from around the world.
